Thanks Nuwanthika Fernando

Tonight at Macquarie University Sydney Nuwanthika Fernando gave a short talk about the history of Photography and Imaging the sky. I found it very interesting.

Some questions about astrophotography and the limitations of future equipment were discussed during question time and the answers offered some interesting insights. The Seestar S50, a small astrophotography camera was used as an example of how small astrophotography equipment is getting in regards to hitting a wall with size limitations. This camera is frequently discussed here in the Astronomers Hub forums.

I’m pleased to see science talks including amateur astronomy in their references.

Thanks for the quick look back at how cameras and documenting the night sky has progressed over time.

wow a friend of mine actually has seestar S50. he says it’s sth pretty handy to use
