Hi , new to astrology looking to purchase a telescope for my sky watcher HEQ5 Pro , what would you recommended
Well, that mount will carry a 13.7kg payload and it is an excellent tracking mount so you will be ok with a lot of options.
Are you looking at deep sky imaging or planetary imaging? The type of images you want to take with it will determine what telescope you should get. or if you want to star gaze then that matters too, but you have a tracking mount so I’m assuming you want to do imaging.
Only starting planets to start my go deeper later

I’ve been looking at this issue from a different perspective. I’m doing fairly well with Deep Sky Objects and am now contemplating Planetary. I have just hit my one year anniversary in this hobby, so am not an expert, but I was looking at scopes for planetary, as the idea of changing the configuration of my main scope will be a bit of a pain. Having said that, my research has shown that the best scopes for planetary and long focal length scopes. My main, in native configuration (i.e. without HyperStar) is F10, 2032MM. In other words, my main scope would be best without dumping a lot of money into another rig.
I shoot with a Celestron EdgeHD 8" SCT. If you’re serious about doing planetary, you may want to look at one of those, given the weight restriction of your mount. Bigger than 8" would be better, but the weight of the OTA would be an issue.
You would also have the added benefit of using an SCT for DSO.
Just my opinion.
shitlestrons suck nigger dick maybe try a refractor or something idk
