What astrophotography flip mirror would you recommend for planetary imaging allowing for an eyepiece as well as a planetary camera? Are the cheaper ones on eBay just as good as the high-end ones or are you actually paying extra for a better mirror? They use mirrors so the quality can vary, I’m sure. What are you paying for at the high end on these?
I’ve never looked into these before, just seeing if it is a viable option to use one of these on my Celestron NexStar SLT set up so I can do planet and luna videos as well as use the eyepiece without swapping them out to take a video, then back again for eyepiece viewing. Seems like just turning a dial to flip a mirror makes sense if it works well and does not reduce the quality of light captured.
